Inaaya’s Creation of Opus Vii Amouage Launched in 2013 as part of the Library Collection, Opus VII—also known as Reckless Leather—was composed by Alberto Morillas and Pierre Negrin. It opens with a sharp, aromatic blend of galbanum, pink pepper, cardamom, nutmeg, and fenugreek, creating a spicy-green introduction. The heart reveals agarwood smoke, patchouli, ambrox, and leather, layered with ambergris for richness. The base is deep and resinous, featuring costus root, muscone, sandalwood, olibanum, and cypriol, delivering a smoky, animalic trail.
